Why not let children watch "SpongeBob SquarePants"?

I am a child, not an adult. (14) and surprised me Many parents like their kids watch SpongeBob. I'm a fan of SpongeBob, I always watch with the kids when I'm babysitting and we love it. I see nothing wrong with that, all I can think is that parents think that education is not the humor or have a dumb or something that lines. I remember when I was about 8 was not high in the voice and see it for a very short time, because my boyfriend mom (my parents separated and my mother had a boyfriend) told my mother about this commercial (for what it really was not an episode), where SpongeBob slapped a girl in the ass, and he thought it might be a bad influence because of that. But about two weeks to do SpongeBob not see my mother saw a few episodes with me and do not see anything wrong with him. But this is probably getting too long so I'll stop writing ... ANSWER PLEASE! : -]

This is because traditionally, Nickelodeon cartoons that are marketed to children have a background of subtle humor for adults board them. Rocco's Modern Life is a classic example of this. Sponge Bob is not as obvious the modern life of Rocco, but if I remember thinking about this in 10 years, go back and watch some more episodes, you'll see what I want say. That said, I do not think it matters enough to prevent children from watching the show.
