Is milk consumption before exercise is a good idea?
In the morning I feel dizzy when I exercise (weight training, not walking or stairs) on an empty stomach. Instead of having a cup of yogurt or cottage, thought a glass of milk would be a good thing because it brings proteins, and hydration. The contributions of professional competence or power would be welcome. Thank you!
I think I have answered your question for yourself. But yes, a glass of skim milk is a good pre-workout choice. You still need to see during the hydration exercise, so make sure you carry a water bottle with you. Consider amplification nutritional content of milk by adding a tablespoon or two powdered whey protein (I'm a fan of Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Double Rich Chocolate.) This gives a combination of rapid absorption amino acids from whey (powder) and slowing the digestion of casein proteins in milk. It is actually a prerequisite ideal drink-nutrition training. I add a banana for a little energy. Over there a lot of research on protein intake before and after exercise and how it affects muscle growth and recovery. I included a link to a more detailed article on this subject, there including sources. Finally, do not neglect the critical period after the training session. In a similar style, you must ensure that they consume 20-40 grams of fast digesting proteins (again, the whey is ideal for this), with a glycemic carbohydrates like dextrose and / or glucose immediately after weight-resistance training. A potato in the oven (without fats like butter or sour cream, of course) or a bowl of Rice Chex also works well. This is the time of day you can take advantage of starchy carbohydrates and simple sugars because they will be used by the body to expel nutrients into the muscle during this period, compared to being stored as fat. So enjoy milk!
